Scars of Honor features five gathering professions that feed the crafting economy of Irongarth. Raw materials harvested from the world are refined into weapons, armour, potions, and consumables — everything from a rough iron pickaxe to a masterwork fishing rod has its place in the supply chain. A full recipe finder and crafting planner is in development; for now, here's what we know.
Mining lets you harvest ore nodes scattered across Irongarth's dungeons and wilderness zones. Ore is smelted into metal bars used in smithing — the backbone of weapon and armour crafting. Higher-tier tools unlock deeper veins and rarer ores like Mithril.
Woodcutting provides lumber for construction, bows, staves, and certain alchemical reagents. Oak and Yew are the confirmed wood types so far — Oak for general smithing and construction, flexible Yew favoured for bow crafting and enchanting components.
Herbalism collects the herbs and plant materials used in Alchemy and Cooking. Sage and Moonleaf are the confirmed herb types — common Sage fuels basic potions, while rare Moonleaf (which glows faintly at night) unlocks higher-tier alchemical recipes.
Cooking uses ingredients gathered from Fishing and Herbalism to prepare food items that grant temporary stat bonuses and sustain. Cooked food is a reliable source of pre-combat buffing — especially valuable during extended dungeon runs where potion supply runs low.
Fishing provides food consumables and alchemical components gathered from Irongarth's waterways. The profession scales with rod quality — a basic Willow Rod gets you started, while the Masterwork Fishing Rod (level 15) unlocks rare catches in deeper fishing zones.
A full searchable recipe database with crafting chains, material requirements, and yield tables is planned for this page. Data is being mapped as the game adds content — join the Discord to follow progress or contribute what you know.
